Role and Responsibilities

  1. Develop Affiliation criteria
  2. Devise processes for locating potential Affiliates
  3. Develop a process for screening and accepting potential Affiliates
  4. Develop disclaimers and warnings that all Affiliates may not be suitable for all
  5. Review and recommend candidates for confirmation by the Board
  6. Update the aTLC database to accommodate data needed for Affiliates
  7. Establish liaison with each Affiliate (e.g., personal contact plus a monthly Affiliates' eBulletin)
  8. Periodically review Affiliates activities and identify any concerns for board consideration.

Short-term Goals (1 year):

  1. Establish a Affiliate Review Subcommittee
  2. Develop a procedural sequence for accepting Affiliates
  3. Produce an enrollment letter and application form on website
  4. Identify and enroll 60-100 Affiliates
  5. Establish mechanism for improving the process/refining criteria
  6. Develop a monthly Affiliates' eBulletin

Long-term Goals (2-5 years):

  1. Continue to enroll new Affiliates
  2. Develop profiles for each Affiliate with links from each Blueprint point addressed by the Affiliate

Strategies

  1. Conference calls to accomplish short-term objectives
  2. Test web forms on Affiliates and evaluate feedback

  1. Application vs enrollment nomenclature
  2. How to deal with controversial sites
