Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate methods by which aTLC communications (on
conference calls, email, and at retreats and conferences, and with
Affiliates and associates) be efficient, fair, and conducted in a
manner that members are satisfied with and feel good about; and make
these available for review by others interested in adopting or
incorporating any of these practices into their own.
Short Term Goals (1 year):
- Develop and facilitate methods by which aTLC communications,
(on conference calls, email, and at retreats and Conferences, and
with Affiliates and associates) be efficient, fair, and conducted
in a manner that members are satisfied with and feel good
about.
- Develop procedures for inviting, transiting in and out, and/or
incorporating new members onto committees.
- Develop procedures for inviting and incorporating new board
members.
- Facilitate, on request, resolution of breakdowns/conflicts
between aTLC individuals.
- Ensure our conferences are sensitive to issues of
cultural/diversity competency.
Long Term Goals (2-5 years):
- Develop ways and means of introducing our material to diverse
cultural groups.
- Create public section on our website which shares with others
the procedures and practices we develop and resources we use to
facilitate our communications.
