Role and Responsibilities

To provide web site support for:

1. aTLC planning, operations, and public activities
2. aTLC Affiliates activities
3. Promoting aTLC and Affiliates
4. Creating and/or supporting revenue streams to fund aTLC

Short-term Goals (1 year)

1. Create committee including non-board members
2. Develop committee charter
3. *Maintain and update the aTLC website as needed
4. Settle on a long term host provider for the aTLC website
5. Develop website related strategic planning processes and initial plans
6. *Extend and expand website development facilities and capabilites as time and resources permit
7. Develop and document necessary protocols and procedures for website development and maintenance by multiple contributors
8. *Pursue activities to stay informed about the rapidly developing internet world

Long-term goals (2-5 years)

Strategies

• Explore self-organizing systems theory and practice to provide a framework for co-evolving website processes with their metabolic environment, i.e. streams of nourishment, requirements for self-renewal, and demand for products and services.

Needed policies

• For BOD to define discretionary range of committee for rapid adaptibility to new needs and conditions without full board approval
• For BOD to define a website funding paradigm and process for staff, equipment/software, and operating funds
